Elegance, Hand-Crafted.

The Marilyn is a statement piece—an heirloom-quality instrument born of inspiration, precision, and the tireless hands of Master Luthier Gabriel Wright. Hand-made from the finest tonewoods and finished with a refined, modern aesthetic, each Marilyn is a one-of-a-kind creation, tailored to the vision of its future owner.

At its core, the Marilyn is built for both performance and artistry. A hand-carved, torrefied 5A flame maple neck, reinforced with carbon fiber and shaped to a classic Vintage C profile, delivers stability and smooth, responsive playability. The Tru-Oil neck finish offers an effortless feel under your fingers, while the 24.75" scale provides familiar comfort and dynamic flexibility.

Each body is crafted from either a single piece or end-matched laminate, with select woods that have been hand-felled, resawn, and air-dried for no less than three years—a meticulous process that speaks to Bloom's reverence for traditional luthiery. The chambered construction reduces weight and enhances resonance, resulting in an instrument that is both tonally rich and incredibly comfortable to hold.

The Marilyn's top is where artistry meets choice. You’ll select from Master Grade 1/4" carved tops, available in both bookmatched or single-piece options, with a wide array of custom stain finishes. A modern arm bevel and elegant body carve add contemporary ergonomics without sacrificing the instrument’s timeless silhouette.

Premium appointments include an ebony fingerboard (bound or unbound), stainless steel frets with optional bullet ends, and a range of exotic fingerboard materials—from Wenge to Ziracote—for those seeking something truly personal.

The Marilyn comes standard with a powerful and versatile electronic suite: a Rio Grande Muy Grande Twangbucker bridge pickup pairs with a tappable Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder neck pickup, delivering a broad tonal palette. Push/push coil splitting, a Pure Tone multi-contact output jack, and a sleek anodized aluminum pickguard round out a package built to inspire.

Each instrument is finished with a satin nitrocellulose body (gloss available by request) and delivered in your choice of a Gator hardshell case or Icon Series bag.
