MONROE I – Straightforward Hard Rock. No Apologies.
Meet the Monroe I — where classy curves meet unapologetic volume. It’s got the soul of a 335, the punch of a bar fight, and the kind of playability that makes you want to cancel plans and just riff.
This is no dainty vintage reissue. The Monroe I is a stripped-down, single-pickup, hard rock machine that does one thing better than anything else — hit hard. Loaded with a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a push/push coil split (with our Bloom Treble Bleed circuit, because clarity matters when you’re melting faces), it’s pure tone with zero fluff.
The satin open-grain nitro finish feels as fast as it looks — no sticky gloss, no nonsense. Just raw wood, smooth feel, and a sound that cuts straight through the mix.
Specs that matter:
Body: Maple laminate with serious resonance
Neck: Mahogany, built for road-ready comfort
Fretboard: Rosewood with pearl dots — classy but not precious
Hardware: Guyker locking tuners, chrome Tune-o-matic bridge + stop tailpiece
Electronics: Seymour Duncan JB (Bridge), 500k push/push volume with coil split, PureTone multi-contact jack
Finish: Open-grain nitro satin — available in several colors (or hit us up for something custom)
Case: Gator Icon Series bag (sold separately — because you probably already own too many)
The Monroe I:
Clean enough for Sunday service. Loud enough to get you kicked out of it.
