HAWTHORNE I – One Pickup. All Attitude.
The Hawthorne I is what happens when you strip an offset down to its bare essentials and crank the volume anyway. Handcrafted in Spokane, WA, it’s our no-nonsense take on the Jazzmaster — leaner, meaner, and built for players who believe “less is more” only when it’s louder.
This beast runs on a single Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge — high output, tight low end, and enough bite to melt a pedalboard. Don’t let the one-pickup setup fool you; between the coil split switch, bass-cut switch, and kill switch, this thing’s got more tricks than your lead singer’s hair product collection.
The mahogany body and S Style Roasted Maple Neck give it that thick, resonant growl, while the rosewood fretboard keeps it smooth and classy. The 25.5" scale feels instantly familiar, with just enough tension to make bends feel like rebellion. Finished in our open-grain satin nitro, it looks as raw as it sounds — aging naturally and feeling broken-in from day one. Want it relic’d? We’ll make it look like you’ve already been on tour.
